The vision for New Anglican Church arose in response to the need for a vibrant and authentic Anglican witness in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Participation in Christian Churches has been in decline in the Bay Area for decades and is now estimated to involve less than 20% of residents.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matthew 9:37-38)

Anglicanism with its cultural sensitivity that encourages entreprenurial solutions, its reasoned approach to faith, and its commitment to the Bible as the inspired Word of God has much to offer the Bay Area.  Our approach to faith will not appeal to all, but we believe that a vibrant and authentic Anglican witness can help our Lord of the Harvest.  Registered users can engage and learn online.  As groups of users begin forming, we will identify Bay Area locations for small groups and possible new churches.
